In other news. House just had an amazing episode... I am irritated. But it was good. Battlestar Galactica is over. Futurama won't have a new movie out for some time now. There always is Criminal Minds.

TV really has taken over my life. I watch QVC for fun while doing homework.

I am sorry this blog sucks today... I have been up for 19.5 hours... On 4 hours of sleep. I am dying. I need to get up early tomorrow and do some work. I need a solid 6 hours of sleep tonight. I should shower at some point too. My hair is gross.

I am sorry. My nose has been stuck in books and papers all day today. Between all my finals next week. Blogging might be kinda hard.

Today I want to talk about my new found ability to lose things I need. Like my school ID so I can work the elevator to my lab... or else I hike up 11 flights of stairs. My debit card which is MIA somewhere in my room... My driver's license always the night I want to go out to the bars...

I misplace my homework papers, the chargers... yes plural... to my cellphone. One of my shoes goes missing for a while. Pants shirts, socks.

I never lost things when I was little. I lost one thing and I still get sad when I think about it. My mom got me this super cute denim jacket and glued white rose buds all over it and made it look soooo cute. I wore it one day before I lost it.

My sister can lose anything.... I hope I am not keeping this pattern.

So I was going to make this awesome video of all my experiments... but then my camera died. But I made a slightly less awesome video of the green house where I work.



Today I want to talk about social networking. I have profiles for: Facebook, myspace, livejournal, deadjournal, 3 networks on the ning, youtube,steam id, AIM, MSN, IRC, google chat, blogtv, twitter, flikr, shutterfly, twitpic, zooloo, blogspot, skype, yahoo, blurbomat, dooce and not to mention the COUNTLESS forums I visit.

Is it really all that important to have all this crap? I think I could streamline it down to Facebook, twitter, and you tube and blog tv, and livejournal, and blog spot...see I can't stop myself. I want to be so connected... but everyone is on these different networks. The internet has revolutionized how we communicate and interact with people, but I feel like its gone down hill. Nothing is personal anymore. We just email one another and go on with it. I want to talk with someone, face to face... what a novelty. OOOooo.

Anyways am I the only person who has these problems?

After an exhausting 11 hour day on campus in meetings, and class, and in the lab I am relaxing with a beer and I'm Fish Reed.

This movie is amazing. Its cute, funny, smart. I love the small town feel. It captures it perfectly. This quirky comedy will brighten your day. Its also only 1.5 hours so you can watch it on the fly.

My only clean pair of pants got all muddy today at work. But I am getting some really good data. YAY!

So on my second day of BEDA I will write about... well...

Battlestar Galactica. No...
I know its a cop out for my blog but I will come up with something more inventive later this afternoon.

Today is the first day of blog everyday in April. Sadly I cannot think of anything to blog about.

After 2 hours of contemplation I decided on Twilight. The series of "novels" by Stephanie Meyer. I say novels loosely due to the shaky writing.

After talking to a few other women who have read twilight more than once we have all come to the same conclusion. These books are awful. The dialogue, plot, characterization, everything is total crap. The story of the first book is nice. It should have ended there.

There is what I call the "Cullen Blindess" that comes over us as we read Twilight. We forget who to read critically for content. We become 14 year old girls swooning over a perfect man. We stay up until 4am trying to finish New Moon and sobbing when Jacob leaves in Eclipse. Then we get finish the last book close it and say... Well that was shitty.

You read the books again and can't help but hope they get better. I found GRAMMAR ERRORS! IN A PUBLISHED NOVEL! I plugged through all 4 books again and came to the conclusions:

Bella: Is a useless pile of human flesh call her a martyr if you will, I call it stupidity.
Edward: Is a creepy over protective controlling boyfriend/husband. If we go be Anne Rice standards his junk probably doesn't work anyways and therefore the whole "I am super sexy vampire" factor is a total wash. He is also a total masochist which is a big buzz kill too.
Jacob: Is a snarky rude utterly sexy werewolf. I am biased though.



So take it or leave it Twilight has captured this country by storm. Well the world really. This is the new, but lamer Harry Potter series.

Has anyone noticed in the last few weeks since the Russian took over LJ that there are malware adds on the site. I log in go to my friends page and BAM my browser resizes and it takes me 5 minutes to get back to my friends page. I try and close out it doesn't work. The ads on the side panels aren't relevant or REAL for that matter. This site is going down hill. I am probably going to leave soon.
